What size watch do most Pakistani sellers stock?

The answer is 40mm. Of the 99 active listings on WatchBazar, 30 use a 40mm case. That makes it the dominant size in the market. When you browse, you will see 40mm first because there are simply more of them available. It is the safe choice for sellers.

But safe does not mean most wanted.

Why do 44mm watches get more attention?

Larger watches have moved from niche to mainstream over the past decade. A 44mm case sits 10% above the traditional "standard" 40mm, offering a bigger presence on the wrist without entering oversized territory. The data shows this: our 5 live 44mm listings average 225 views each. That is nearly double the 40mm average of 116.4 views.

The audience for larger watches exists in Pakistan. Sellers just have not yet listed enough to meet the demand.

What about the smaller sizes?

The 39mm watches (5 listings, 188.8 views each) sit between the 40mm standard and the larger 44mm watches in size, and their viewer engagement confirms it: they receive more attention than 40mm but less than 44mm. A 39mm case offers a slightly slimmer profile while maintaining the visual presence of a full-size watch.

These data points come from actual browsing behaviour on WatchBazar. Smaller samples of 5 listings are subject to variance, but the pattern is clear. Buyers are drawn to larger cases.

How do you know what size is right for your wrist?

A watch case size should fit your wrist proportions. The rule of thumb is that the lugs (the points where the strap connects) should land somewhere near the edges of your wrist when the watch sits centered. For most men, a 40mm to 44mm case works. If your wrist is particularly slim, a 38mm or 39mm case may feel better balanced.

The thickness matters too. A 40mm watch with a thin profile will wear smaller than a 40mm watch that is 12mm thick. Before you commit to a size based on the millimetre figure alone, check the thickness and the lug-to-lug distance.

Do brands matter more than size?

Not really. Size comfort depends on your wrist size and preference, not the brand that makes the watch. A Casio at 40mm will sit the same way as a Citizen at 40mm. The brand affects the movement, the materials, and the price. The size affects how it feels on your wrist.

What size watch should you buy in Pakistan?

If you want to match what is actually available, buy 40mm. If you want to match what buyers are actually looking at, consider 39mm or 44mm. The 40mm choice is abundant and safe. The 44mm choice is rare and hot.

Method

We analysed all 99 active, approved watch listings on WatchBazar and grouped them by case size. For each size with at least 5 listings, we calculated the average number of views received per listing. Views measure actual viewer interest, not seller bias. The date above is the date these figures were true.

This measures WatchBazar listings only. It is not a national market average. Browse the watch listings by size and compare what sellers stock against what viewers click.
